My goal this year is to be better about blogging. Even if I don’t do it for every shoot, I’m hoping to be a little more consistent at least. Having a baby has made the little things so much harder. In an attempt to be more on top of my online presence, I’ve moved my workspace into the living room so I can bounce from baby to work a little easier. Here’s one of my favorite cozy sessions that wrapped up a very amazing 2019. I love lifestyle sessions. I love it when people bring their pets. I love love and I love capturing these little moments, unposed and raw. Here’s to more shoots like this for the new year ahead!
Kisch Wedding // Whiskey Creek Beach, Port Angeles
Where do I even begin?! This was one of the most fun filled wedding days I’ve ever captured. Andy & Amanda completely adore each other which made my job as fun as it could be. I swear if there’s such thing as a match made in heaven — they’re it. Watching Andy’s daughter Kylie help Amanda with her dress was so special to watch. The bond that family has is so strong, so loving and so evident. Witnessing all the pretty details, the pre ceremony jitters, the happiness, the tears, the laughs, all of the cutest dogs, the best guests and the most gorgeous sunset was right up my alley in every way possible. Despite things going a little different as most weddings do, we still managed to pull everything off with flying colors. Traffic was bad that day so some guests were late to arrive for their ceremony. Instead of stressing out about having to postpone the ceremony until friends and families from out of town could arrive, we went down to the beach as the sun peaked through the oceanside mist and we took some of the most romantical photos before they officially tied the knot. They had a beautiful ceremony, with many tears, & many laughs & wrapped things up with the cutest first kiss ever before dancing their way to sign their marriage license. These two took wedding day celebrations to a whole new level. It was no surprise that DJ Robotix did a fantastic job at getting the party started. He set the guests’ dancing shoes on fire — especially Andy’s (see pictures). Not to mention, the evening golden skies really set the scene. I can’t say enough good things about Whiskey Creek Beach NW and how stunning & perfect this place is for a wedding. This wedding was seriously overall everything I could’ve dreamt it to be… but I’ll stop blabbering and let the photos speak for themselves…
